Thank you.Please call/text this number if interested: 484-343-XXXX Cat located in this city: New Smyrna Beach Cat’s Name: Eva Cat’s Age & Sex: Female 10 months Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): My son and I chose her from the Humane Society in October 2022. After our 13 yo cat passed away two years ago we thought it was a good time to find a new pet and might be a good opportunity to teach the kids (6 & 3) more responsibility. We are not able to give her the attention she deserves. There are stressors in our home that make it difficult to justify having a pet at this time.She is an awesome cat and we hope toFind her a really stable and loving home . Eva is a very affectionate and particularly energetic and agile kitty. Perhaps she has Abyssinian mixed in her bloodline somewhere and she exhibits traits much more like this breed than just a Tabby. She is very smart and teachable and would do well with someone who wants to have a tagalong or has the time to train her to do tricks! She communicated very well and is eager to tell you what she wants. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Eva likes to be picked up by her grownup people. She is content to sit in your lap or just walk around on you. Her playfulness gets her into to trouble with curious little hands so older children would be recommended for her new home. She also LOVES making biscuits (kneading while purring), Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Eva comes with a gray 4 foot cat tree, dry/wet food bowl, water bowl, food mat, litter box, plastic cat toy springs (her favorite cat toys) What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): wet food twice a day and dry kibbles in between . Limiting the dry food is key to ensure Eva eats her dinner twice a day (wet food) :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too!
