Edmund will need to be in a home with another kitten. He is fun, playful, and happy to be held. He tested FIV+. So he will need to be retested at 6 months old to see if he has FIV or just the antibodies from his mother. Even if he is FIV+ he can safely live with FIV- cats because FIV is only transmissible through mating and deep puncture wounds. His foster parents are Christine C. The adoption fee for Edmund is $140. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Edmund. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.
