Inquisitive, Treat Lover, Peaceful Diona is a sweet tabby looking for a quiet, tranquil place to call home. She enjoys the company of humans. But, she likes to get to know them at her own pace. Give her time and she will give you her trust and her heart in return! Diona likes to have a plan and to stick to it! She enjoys having a predictable feeding routine and a steady dose of treats, pets and sweet talk. Consistent opportunities for window time and sunbeamed naps are always appreciated too! When it comes to treats, Diona loves a nice Sheba Meaty Tender Stick! She also gets pretty excited about Churu Treats. She is open to trying your kitty snack picks too. She may even be willing to work out a deal...treats for pets. It's a win win! Diona ADORES other cats! She especially likes boy feline buddies, but she has been known to cozy up to gal pals too. She is so playful and snuggly with her cat friends and would be happiest in a home that includes another kitty. Diona is curious and sometimes has a need for speed! When she gets the zoomies, she will run the length of the house like a furry whirlwind. She loves to play with all kinds of toys and especially likes the ones that make noise. She is a big fan of chase, whether it's with a cat buddy or a laser pointer. Her ABSOLUTE favorite fun-time activity is destroying a roll of paper towels. And, she has never been known to turn down a cardboard box because, well, she's a cat! Diona would be a lovely addition to a calm, loving home with a patient person who will give her time to warm up. She would do best in a home that includes another cat...her heart is whole when she is with another friendly kitty. She definitely likes people too - that's where you come in! It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Diona can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine!
