Meet Destiny! Destiny came to us after being found as a stray. We believe she was born in July of 2022 and would do best in a calmer home with a feline friend. Her new family should know it may take her a little longer to settle in because she is a bit on the shy side at first! Destiny LOVES to play play play! She is always snuggled up somewhere cozy, playing with a feline friend or sunbathing in front of a window! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
