Davis was found outside in pretty rough shape. People were feeding him and trying to make friends with him....but he was just not sure about it.Finally someone got him in a carrier and we were contacted. Davis was pretty defensive at first, but clearly he had been someone's pet at one point.Now he loves attention and is great with other cats. He may take a little bit to think you are worthy of his attention, but once he figures you are ok, he looks for the lovin. He can be a bit of a grump....but we find it endearing! We call him our bi-polar cat - rubs on your legs then turns and hisses! He is a bit of a weirdo! We do have him on some supplements to help him feel more secure and calm. They really seem to help, but we would not feel comfortable adopting him out to a home with children.Davis also has the kind of hair that mats easily. We recently had him shaved and he is sooo much happier! But he will likely need to have this done a couple of times a year.Born likely fall of 2018, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60.
