Life is not always fair. A cat can think everything is going great and have her world fall out from under her. And life is no different for this beauty... Davidson is named after her late owner. She started life as loved colony cat. Not a feral...no sir. She was a friendly colony cat. Probably a pet that had been abandoned by a careless owner. The kind lady that found her and cared for her was caretaker for 20 cats. She had everyone fixed and things seemed great.Until the dogs came. Some of her friends were killed. And the neighbor was threatening to let the dog out again. Nothing could be done and the cats that were still alive had to get moved. This was their home and they were happy here... but they were not safe. So our rescue helped find homes for the entire colony. Rae went with a few of her friends to stay at a big farm... a German Shepard rescue with all kinds of amazing animals. Things seemed to be turning around for her... again. She stayed with this farm for two years. Until one day an ambulance showed up. And then, before she knew it... she saw people coming and going and then she saw her owner carried out on a rolling bed. She never came back. The next day people started showing up and taking the animals. One by one. Everyone in the community did their part to give these animals a safe place. Our rescue went too... and we got Davidson and her three other cat friends. And here we are. She is now called Davidson... in honor of her owner who went on ahead of her. She is a lovely kitty and she is so deserving of a happy future. And finally... FINALLY to find a forever that she can trust will not fall down around her. Her sister is named Rae (again... in honor of her passed owner) and they are both very well behaved. They are now strictly indoor cats and they are fine with that. They are good girls and We pray the right families will soon find them!##988252##
