The adoption fee is waived for Collins and ALL Desperate Housecats!Collins is a handsome boy that could no longer be cared for in his community. He has been shy and timid at the shelter, so we are incorporating him into our Cactus Cat room where he can hang out with other felines like himself while going through positive reinforcement clicker training. Every kitty has their own time table of when they come out of their shells, but this training can certainly make things go faster! Collins will need a patient adopter willing to give him adequate time and space to adjust to a new home and be willing to continue his training. Collins really loves other friendly cats, so we recommend he go to a home with a feline friend that he can rely on for guidance.We believe this boy is a `succulent` Cactus Cat. These cats are low-maintenance and easygoing. With plenty of treats and slow, steady trust-building, you could find common ground and friendship!
