Cicely was adopted a few months ago as a two month old kitten. The adopter's son recently moved home and had a very serious allergic reaction to Cicely so she had to come back, no fault of her own. When she was previously in a foster home, everyone fell in love with her! She had such a sweet personality! She liked to sit on your chest and look right into your face. Her purr will melt your heart! Cicely will steal your heart when you gaze into her eyes. Cicely might hiss when she first meets a new cat or dog but very quickly, she adjusts just fine. She recently took a break from the PetSmart store in a new foster home with a big, cat friendly dog. She hissed through the baby gate when she arrived but within the first few hours, she was up at the baby gate giving the dog a friendly head butt through the gate. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. Meet Cicely at our adoption event on Saturday at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4pm. Or apply online to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time. She is spayed, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix.
