Chirp was struggling to survive on the streets of Georgia, where he was found with a giant open wound on his head. He was clearly in a lot of pain, but his doctor described him as "one of the sweetest cats I've ever met." He's all healed now with just a little scarring by his eye, and according to his foster Mom in NYC, he was sociable from Day 1! This handsome orange tabby is obviously so grateful to be safely indoors--he can almost always be found next to his person, sleeping on the couch or in bed, or exploring his home. Chirp is FIV+, but he is not contagious to humans or dogs; also, FIV can only be transmitted to other cats via a deep bite (which is very likely how he got it).
