Charlie is so sweet! He's pretty timid with newcomers therefore he will require a period of time to become adjusted to new people and new environments but once he feels comfortable that's when he starts seeking out belly rubs! You know how a lot of cats don't like you to touch their belly, well Charlie is quite unique like that where he LOVES his belly rubbed and pet. He will literally stretch out and roll over so you can pet his belly. It's the sweetest thing. Charlie did come into the shelter from living on the streets, where he was being fed and cared for, unfortunately his caregiver could no longer care for him and knowing how sweet he was reached out to our shelter to see if we would take him in. There was definitely a period of adjustment, like most cats that come off of the street, but once adjusted he turned into a really sweet boy.We think Charlie would do best in a house where it's not too busy and he has his space and when he needs it will come seeking belly rubs. He does well with the other cats in the shelter so he would be a goof fit if you are looking to expand your kitty family.
