Female, DSH, born approx 3/29/2023 Chanterelle, better known as Nell, was rescued with her sisters from a trailer park at a young age. They were some of the most beautiful kittens to ever cross our path, but also the shyest. While Nell is honestly so stunning with her dilute torbie coloring and blue green eyes, she does come with that classic tortitude and may take some time acclimating to a new home. Luckily, much like Ariel, she wants to be where the people are... she just doesn't really want you to try to touch her or look at her funny. But if you're really sneaky she will allow pets when sleepy and does in fact enjoy them once she has accepted them, so will likely only become friendlier! She loves playing with her sisters, chasing foam balls (we think she may be a future fetcher), tackling wand toys, and devouring Churu sticks. Nell also has a wandering spirit, she's not very good at following the pack and at times seems in her own little world. Nevertheless she does appear to get distressed when she figures out that she has wandered off, so we think she may do well in a home with other feline friends that can come to her rescue. She currently seems the most interested of the sisters in befriending the resident cats in her foster home so may be a good at integrating into an already occupied home. Apply today to meet Nell!
