Challah is a 1 year old girl who’s done being a mom and done living outside! She loves her human to scratch her face just the way she shows you with her paw and purrs her approval as you do it correctly. Once she accepts you she will wrap her tail around you and lean into you as she passes you to maintain contact. If she senses some thing is “off” her signal is to fluff out just the fur at the base of her tail. Her FAVORITE toy is a compressed catnip ball. She has lived with cats but her exposure to dogs is unknown. We believe she would grow to love respectful older children with the right introduction and patience. She will need a fairly quiet home and patient people but when she becomes comfortable will be all joy. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only. As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested. September 10, 2023, 8:50 am
