Hi, my name is Capri! I'm a transfer from a Texas rescue partner and born to Bahama Momma! From the foster: Don't be fooled by her delicate appearance - Capri is a tiny firecracker. She arrived with her brother, Caymen, a few weeks ago. Despite being nervous for the first couple days, she quickly became preoccupied by finding all of the new things to play with: cat toys, a laundry basket, our dog's tail, etc. Unlike her more reserved brother, Capri is the first to jump into new activities and the last to get bored of them. We suspect she didn't realize that we humans existed as anything other than objects to climb for the first few days (she was too busy exploring and playing!). Her favorite activities include hunting her brother, batting toys around the floor, and chasing her tail. All of that energy needs to be recharged somehow, and when Capri isn't running around the house you can find her curled up in a choice nap spot, such as the crook of your elbow or the warmest part of your laptop keyboard. Capri is fairly independent. She's always interested in playing if you have a toy, but she's also very good at keeping herself entertained. When she's in the mood for pets she'll come find us and meow, but she isn't terribly interested in cuddles that she doesn't initiate. We'd love to see Caymen and Capri go to the same home as a pair, but they would also do well on their own or in a household with other friendly pets. Capri gets along well with our resident cats, and while she still hisses at our dog she seems more curious and less scared every day. She hasn't met any children yet, but we think she would do well with them.
