Calypso is an older girl who loves naps, plenty of treats, rubs, and long, soulful conversations about life. She has plenty to say and lots of love left still to give despite being approximately 13 years old. Calypso does take a pill to help maintain her thyroid which she takes twice daily, but will eat it easily in a pill pocket in her breakfast and dinner. Calypso likes to walk into your lap, make muffins, and sing the song of her people. Her raspy voice is akin to a jazz singer who has felt the sting of lost love too many times, or grizzled but wise receptionist in a dental office ready to give passing life advice over the water cooler. She gets along well with all other cats of any age and is the first to rub up on newcomers. She would do well in a quiet, low energy household where someone is home often.
