Betty and Boop are yin and yang, balanced opposites - you could say that they purr-fectly compliment each other. While these sisters are not bonded they would enjoy the familiarity and routine of continuing to live together. There's a good chance that these cats will be found cuddling up beside you, one on either side, while you watch TV or read. Or, if you have a housemate, one cat for you and one cat for your housemate. They will compete for your attention. You will often find both of your hands busy petting cats. If you are petting Boop then Betty will not be far behind with her request for attention, and vice versa. These kitties need a person or family who loves to give and receive feline affection, and who will wear cat fur with pride. Though they tolerate each well their ideal home is one where they will be able to have their own space to retreat. They would likely prefer a dog-free home with a quiet or middle of the road energy. They would likely do well with adolescents and older. You must be on time with breakfast and dinner, please and thank you. Otherwise, You may find the cat food bag filled with puncture wounds! With that said, they would also benefit from someone who will help them get to a healthy weight safely. Boop was often soliciting attention while in the shelter. Perhaps it was the occasional sass which caused her to be overlooked - even though we all have a right to say "enough is enough". When she arrived at our home she immediately started to explore her surroundings. She allowed us to pet her that day, and exposing her belly soon followed. Boop is a sophisticated large white cat with dilute grey markings on her head and coordinating markings on her tail. Her eyes are peridot green, her whiskers are white, and her nose is a soft pink. She greets me at the door with her boisterous meow. She is very affectionate, and will jump up on her hind legs for head pets. She'll lean all of her weight into pets with her bum high up in the air until she flops over onto her side. She'll give little love nips to beckon you for more pets. She'll let you know when she's had enough by moving away or giving you the meow. You may often find yourself the recipient of Boop's sweet nose boops! When it comes to play time - Boop is energetic with the feather wand toy. She will jump and leap into the air to swat it or catch it between her paws. Her endurance for play is quite high. It's very entertaining to watch her play. She is a sweet kitty, and I enjoy her company. I want to help her find her perfect home!
