Blondie~born~May 2021My name is Blondie and I am a fluffy, majestic, sweet boy! I am very laid-back and very affectionate and loving. I was rescued outside, living in an apartment complex area where I was being fed. I was so hungry. I was eating weeds popping out of the asphalt parking lot. I was pretty skinny and pretty beat up and had severely matted hair and fleas when I was rescued; I was quite the mess! Now that I have gotten my matted hair trimmed and fleas gone and some antibiotics and love, I am ready to live the good life inside with my person or family. I am just the sweetest thing and don't let my FIV+ status scare you away. With some good love and food and care, I can live a long good life!FIV+ cats need love too! FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds.
