BART.... A big boy, a sweet boy, a little bit of a shy boy. When you walk into a room, you may not see him, but once he knows and hears your voice you will see a head pop up or out and within seconds he will be walking towards you for pets and loving. He enjoys chasing, following, and jumping up at ribbon and feather toys. Give him a toy with good smelling catnip and...YEOWWW...he'll be rolling back and forth, licking, holding, and sniffing to his delight. When rubbing his tummy, he sometimes likes to "hand wrestle", wrapping his paws around your hand and giving " love" bites. He may not sit on your lap right away...will definitely sit beside you..., but I think once he knows you are his and he is yours, you may soon feel the full weight of this sweet, gentle giant on your lap and begin to realize you truly do have a faithful friend and love for life. A quiet home may be best for him, one without small children. He may do best as the only cat in a house. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home.
