Hello! My name is Banjo and I'm here to tell my story! I think perhaps I'm a little misunderstood in this world. When people see a cat, they automatically think cuddler and want attention all the time. Unfortunately, that is not me. I'm a guy of independence. I love to roam around ensuring things are in their place. But please keep reading, I'm really a great guy. Truly I think people can relate to being more introverted than extroverted, and that is exactly me. I'll admit I'm a big chonk of a cat (I just love my treats) and I have a big purr-sonality! My ideal home would be where I can be the king of the house and where I can be comfortable being my laid back, chill self. I'm full of expression and will let you know what I want and when I want it. You won't have to question timing of treats; I'll take those ALL THE TIME! Unfortunately, I have been with the rescue for a while now. I'm a volunteer favorite as many people can't pass up an opportunity to interact with me. They understand my personality and boundaries and can't help but gravitate towards my stately presence. I hope my perfect someone is reading this and will understand and love my personality just the way I am. *Banjo will require a special urinary diet for the rest of his life to prevent him from forming urinary crystals. Banjo's adoption fee is $20, and includes him being neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccinations. **Our shelter is open by appointment only for approved applicants.
