Band-Aid was aptly named because this little guy would have caused you to need one several months ago. When Band-Aid first came to TCR along with 18 of his friends, he was not very nice. Although he was just a little guy back then, Band-Aid had a serious attitude and he was not afraid to tell us how he felt about things. Band-Aid and his friends were rescued from an outdoor colony where they had a great caretaker, but the neighbors were being cruel to them and trying to get rid of the cats in inhumane ways. So, we guess we can't blame him for being a little salty at first. Now that Band-Aid has spent several months in foster, he has learned that humans aren't actually all that bad. He LOVES mealtimes and will dance all around when it is time to be fed. His second most favorite thing is being petted, and he will give ample head butts and roll all over the place for pets. Band-Aid also just very recently realized that laps are a thing. He's still a bit skeptical about these... but for someone who doesn't like to be picked up, he sure did linger in his foster mom's lap a while. We think that he may have the potential to be a lap kitty down the road if his adopters play their cards right. Band-Aid has lived with lots of other kitties in the past, and he would likely appreciate a friendly, confident kitty friend in his forever home. The cats from this location do not seem to enjoy dogs, so he would probably prefer a home without those. We think he could do fine with older, cat-savvy kiddos, but very young kids might be a little much for him. He'd do best with patient adopters who can start him out in one small room and give his personality time to shine. Band-Aid is about 10 months old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for this adorable boy today!
