Hi, my name is Bahama Momma! I'm a transfer from a Texas rescue partner! From the foster: I'm Bahama Mama and just relocated from Texas to Minnesota! Now that my kittens are taken care of I am enjoying settling in as a single kitty. In the morning I love to see my human and will do a quick stretch so I can do our greeting right away. It was figured out pretty quick I love for my ears and chin to get scratched. In fact, I purr so much when that happens, I can be a little loud from pure happiness! Once we get through our attention habit, I like to groom myself so I look my prettiest. After that is finished, I am very curious about what is around me so I do lots of looking and sniffing around. By this time, I'm ready for more attention so I let my human know by flopping down in front of them in the cutest way I can. I like attention but don't worry, when you are busy with your things, I'm pretty happy being in the same area doing my own thing. This includes napping, more grooming, and of course playing with some toys. I'm still figuring out which ones I like the best so if you have some you like and want to play with me, that would be pawsome!! So far there aren't a lot of humans or animals in my foster home to interact with but I have liked all the humans so far and I want to make friends so I try my best. Bahama Mama is schedule for her spay July 13 and a tooth extraction in August 24. There was another foster cat in the home when Bahama Mama arrived. They did not hit it off right away but over time, that has gotten better where they can be in the same area together successfully, just not smitten with each other yet.
