Bahama Mama is looking forward to a life of leisure and so we gave her a name to suggest just that! This beautiful baby (yes, she is only 9 months) had been on the streets and just had what we hope is her first and last litter of kittens. She has been taking excellent care of her kittens and even brought them to someone's porch- we think she was trying her best to get everyone into rescue! Wish granted! She is incredibly sweet and cuddly and is proud to show off her babies and let people hold them. We are bringing her up to date on her shots, etc. and will have her spayed as soon as healthy (or will let the adopter do it if she is adopted out sooner). She is looking for a stable home where she can be a strictly indoor cat. Applications are available at www.chesed-rescue.org. We background and vet check all applicants. Preference for home owners.
