Alfred is 7 years old! He was a TNR (trap, neuter, release) in Brownwood, Texas, but the shelter decided he was just too sweet to be released back into the wild! He is a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves to purr and be held. His favorite pastime is making biscuits on your lap (usually he gets so excited that he drools). If he wants your attention he isn’t afraid to get LOUD! Alfred gets along with EVERYBODY! (so does his hair). He isn’t afraid of dogs, and warms up pretty quickly to other cats. He’s litter trained, and super smart! He knows how to open doors and get into trash cans that don’t have lids on them (but he has trouble getting out). We are rehoming him as his owner has had financial issues and had to move in with their parents, who are highly allergic to cats. Alfred sheds and drools quite a bit, which is an unfortunately an issue in this home. All Alfred wants in a home is an owner who will feed and pet him! (and maybe a laser pointer to chase).
