Approximate Date of Birth: 01-01-2024 Description: Meet Curry, a cat with an abundance of love to share. Her personality is a delightful blend of sweetness and curiosity, a gentle soul with a playful spirit. Despite her shyness, she's incredibly friendly, always ready to greet you with a soft purr and a nuzzle when she gets to know you. Curry loves attention and being loved on. She is so adorable when she reaches out with her front paws to love you back. She is becoming more comfortable as a lap kitty. Her cuddles are comforting, like a warm blanket on a cold day. She enjoys a thorough brushing from time to time. She was rescued along with her 4 kittens and was the best mom ever. This lovable feline is seeking a forever home where she can continue to share her love and curiosity. She would do well with a gentle and understanding family to show her just how wonderful life can be indoors. She needs time to adapt to a new surrounding. Until she was rescued she had never seen the inside of a home. So this is all new to her and at first is cautious when exploring. She has never shown signs of wanting to return to the outdoors. She is very vocal at first and then the purring starts once she is being loved on. She has enjoyed listening to soft music and has not had the opportunity to see a TV so may be surprised by this on first glance. Adopt Curry and experience the joy of her sweet, playful companionship. Words to describe: Playful, talkative, shy at first, sweet, great mom, lap kitty and loves attention Likes: Brushing and being loved on pretty much all over except tail area but coming around to that. Fastest way to get me to purr: Love on her. Favorite place to sleep: Inside of a cubby of some sort. Favorite toy: Wand toy. Favorite treat: Temptations. Other info: Curry took some time before she would come out of her kennel to explore the bathroom. She is a bit fearful of coming out of her comfort zone and takes some time to do this. Good with Cats: Likes cats given a proper introduction, she has met another cat nose to nose through a gate and appeared to like the other cat. Good with Dogs: She is getting used to the dog in her foster home through the gate. Dog must be low energy and friendly. Good with Children: Can live with children over the age of 10. Companion Animal: Not necessary. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process: Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match.
