My name is Lumi, and I'm one special lady. Yes, you heard that right: I'm a medium haired, orange, polydactyl female! Phew, that's a lot of genes all coming together for some very unique traits! I've been a wonderful and patient momma to my one kitten, Lumos (if ya know, ya know. Otherwise, Google 'single kitten syndrome.'). Now that she's older, we're ready to find our forever homes (together would be fun, but separately is ok too). I came from an outdoor cat colony, and I'm still getting used to living indoors with humans. Sometimes I get overstimulated when you pet me, but I'm learning to enjoy human company and my foster family has seen me warm up so much! Imagine how comfortable and safe I'll feel when I have a family of my own! I'm good with cats and respectful dogs. I would not do well in a home with very young kids at this time due to sometimes feeling particular about being pet for too long. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees: Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225) Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100) Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60) All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $50 for adults and $85 for kittens under one year old.
