Tawno is ready to spring into summer with you! This happy 2 year old sweetheart is really enjoying the indoor life so far. Endless treats, fun toys and loves from the humans are just some of her favorite things. She is still getting the hang of it, and another friendly feline to show her the ropes would be the cats meow!Tawno is looking to spend her days lounging by the window, enjoying watching the birds fly by and keeping an eye on the local squirrels. Once she warms up to her new surroundings, she shows off how lovable she is! Tawno absolutely loves to play, and a catnip mouse or two would be an excellent touch as you bond. She enjoys her dinners solo, away from other four pawed friends. Did we mention she'd be ok living with a cat savvy dog? About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.Adoption processAll potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.Shelter locationAll Ten Lives cats are located in foster homes throughout Rhode Island and available for meet and greets after an approved adoption application. You can also find some of our adoptable cats at the PetSmart in Warwick, RI.
