This gorgeous, loving boy is named Erie (pronounced like Airy), short for Erised (Air-ih-sed). Erie is a six year old white and grey male tabby, who has a stunning silky fur coat fit for a prince! Those who like Harry Potter may recognize the reference to his name. He is a sweet, smart boy who likes to play with toys like a good ball with a bell in it or one of his feathered toy wands from time to time, but really just loves being around his people. He definitely is food motivated, especially when he hears the crinkle of a treat bag or wrapper, but would choose some cuddles and affection before treats in a heartbeat. This big boy loves a warm lap! Whenever he's around the people he really cares about, he lets you know right away with his constant purring and little biscuit-making paws. He loves being brushed, especially around his ears and under his chin, which really sends him into absolute bliss, and boy does he lean into it! He has not interacted with dogs, and is rather used to being the only cat in the house. However, when done right, a slow paced and gentle introduction to another cat may have potential! He is such an amazing cat and would make a tremendous companion! He can’t wait to meet you! Basically, our potential adopters can contact us regarding pets they may be interested in, or can meet our pets by coming into one of our Petsmart or Petco store locations in the Oceanside/Vista,CA area. We will discuss the pet they're interested in, have them fill out an adoption application and ask some questions around that. If we feel the pet is a fit for the adopter we will then have them complete an adoption agreement perform a home check and collect the adoption fee.
