Meet Cherry! An adorable and cuddly little lady. Cherry is the loaf-iest cat of them all! She likes to think of herself as the fluffiest and cutest loaf you will every meet. Cherry has a very mellow personality, prefering to spend her time sitting on your lap watching Hallmark rather than playing. She's very quiet and independent, so she is the perfect companion to have sit on your lap during a meeting or binge a show. Overall, Cherry has a very calm and gentle demeanor, and generally wouldn't hurt a fly. And did we mention she's adorable too?! Cherry would fit best in a mellow and calm home. She does well with adults, kids and other cats. However, if she were to have another kitty companion, they would have to be calm like her as she is not into playing much. Cherry is a perfect little lady who is more than ready to find her forever home where she can sit and loaf all day (and contemplate world domination perhaps)! We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
