Hello! My name is Wednesday. Does your dog need a friend? I could use a friend too! I am a long-term resident of the rescue. I have been here since I was 12 weeks old. I am a cautious cat, but I do still like attention. I give pretty good head boops to anyone or anything that wants to love me. I do get anxious easily and would need some time to settle into my new home. I am fostered with other cats but would do better without any others. They tend to pick on me, so I have learned to avoid them. I do like dogs though! I would do best in a quiet home that doesn't have a lot going on. An adopter that is willing to give me my space and just let me love on their dog would be amazing! Harlow's Haven Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization the focus on saving the lives of at risk and homeless cats in our community. We provide them with a safe environment in foster homes where they can live cage free and thrive until adoption day. If you have not picked your best friend yet, feel free to fill out the adoption application and get pre-approved. What is the adoption process?1. You submit an Adoption Application2. We review your adoption application.3. We contact your veterinary & personal references.4. Schedule home visit in person or via Google Meet.5. Meet with cat to complete the adoption (or pre-adoption).6. Sign Adoption Agreement & pay adoption fee. What is a pre-adoption?In some cases, a cat or kitten may not be ready to go to their new home right away. We do not adopt cats and kittens before they are spayed/neutered, tested for FELV/FIV and receive age appropriate vaccines. But you may put pay a $75 deposit and sign a pre-adoption agreement to reserve. When a cat or kitten is ready to go to their new home, the balance of the adoption is required to complete the adoption process, along with the Adoption Agreement.
