Description:

YUMMY TUNA CHANGED HIS DESTINY DOB 3/1/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Spark, an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate black and white tuxedo kitten who got my name because I’m a bundle of kitten high-energy. I thoroughly enjoy when Foster Meowmy picks me up to snuggle with me, and that’s when I turn on my purr machine, which sounds like an outboard motor. I enjoy belly rubs so much that I’ll roll over to invite them from Foster Meowmy. Of course a kid named Spark would be very frisky and love to play soccer with balls and catnip mice, but I really get into playing interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head. I entertain myself by jumping in and out of empty cardboard boxes, which I usually destroy in the process. Surprisingly I submit to nail trims, even though most cats run the other direction. My love of wet food and treats is the key to my being a kitten who has his whole pampered life as an indoor kitty ahead of him. You see, future Foster Meowmy was trapping adult community cats to neuter and release when I smelled TUNA! At three months old, I was so hungry and so eager to be the first kitty to get closer to that wonderful fishy aroma that I ran right into the trap before she could even set it. Assuming that I was feral, she didn’t even attempt to get to know my personality very well. She left me in the trap and dropped me off at the vet, who ear-tipped me when he neutered me. When she brought me home for my recovery from surgery, she discovered to her surprise that I was a friendly purr-monster who enjoyed being petted. Well, all I can say is purring and petting ended up being my tickets to permanently staying indoors and kissing the hardscrabble life of a community cat good-bye. My ear tip will always be my badge of courage and a gentle reminder of my love of yummy tuna. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. So if you’re looking for a little fella who’s high-voltage during playtime but cuddly when it’s time to binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, I’m the dude for you. Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 24-0608-C066 If you are interested in Spark and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at XXXX@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. June 18, 2024, 10:20 pmAdoption processAdopting an animal is a very serious decision and we want to be sure that our potential adoptive families have thought about the impact of this decision carefully. To adopt an animal through HOPE, we request that you complete an Adoption Application, a copy of which is available online for cats at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php or for dogs at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php. You may fill it out online or print a copy of the application and complete it prior to arriving at an adoption session. This will expedite the adoption process and will also assist our adoption counselors in matching you to a suitable pet. We at HOPE make every effort to match our foster pets to appropriate homes. If you feel that we are too intrusive, please understand that it is because we care about their welfare. FeesAll animals are neutered or spayed and have received age appropriate shots prior to being adopted. We ask that you provide a $100 donation for cats and a donation of $150 for dogs when you adopt your new family member from us. This donation helps us in defraying the costs of these and other medical needs of our animals.Shelter locationMobile adoption sessions are held on the weekends. All adoption sessions run from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at a variety of locations and days as noted on our website http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-locations/.
