Description:

GET A LOAD OF HONEY BUN TONIGHT! DOB 1/1/16 Hey there, everyone. I’m Honey Bunny, a sweet, friendly, calm, and quiet brown tabby girl with white tuxedo markings who loves to perch on the sofa arm next to my family for petting and companionship. I'm a big girl, but as I look at it, that's just "more to hug." I’m not very demanding, but of course I love interactively playing with my family when they dangle the fishing wand toy for me to bat. After new neighbors moved in, I showed up on my future family’s front porch because I was one of the neighbor’s plethora of outdoor cats. It was only a matter of time before the family's mom invited me in and informed the neighbors that now I belonged to her. Unfortunately, I couldn’t have free run of the house because I didn’t fit into the mix with the three territorial resident cats. When I ventured out of my room, they’d pick on me, so I’d just run back to my room’s safety. Then recently my mom, my bestie, died. She used to spend a lot of time with me, and now I’m really lonely. Unless her husband and daughter are around to monitor the other cats, I have to spend a lot of time alone in my room. So my family has decided that I might have a more enriched life if I could be adopted into a home without hostile, adversarial felines. Could that be with you? I'm a good girl with perfect scratching-post and litter-box manners who needs a new home through no fault of my own except that I don't stand up for myself amidst the bullies. I think I'd really blossom if I could have more one-on-one interaction with my hoomans in a home shared with friendly kitties. If you’re looking for a sweet “Honey Bun[ny]” whose sole desire is to soak up your affection and attention and then reciprocate with my loyal love, then “get a load of Honey Bun[ny] tonight.” As the lyrics to the musical South Pacific say, “I’m caught and I don’t wanta run ‘cause I’m havin’ so much fun with Honey Bun[ny].” That could be you, so arrange to meet me today. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a mature gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories. HOPE ID 24-0525-CO45 If you are interested in Honey Bunny and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you feel that we are too intrusive, please understand that it is because we care about their welfare. FeesAll animals are neutered or spayed and have received age appropriate shots prior to being adopted. We ask that you provide a $100 donation for cats and a donation of $150 for dogs when you adopt your new family member from us.
