Sparrow is such a tender but sweet little soul. When living in a quieter home with her owners, she would rub against their legs and enjoy pets. A recent transition has been stressful for Sparrow, and she hasn't felt comfortable seeking attention as she once did. Sparrow's ideal new bestie will allow her to approach on her own terms and offer her a thoughtful and gradual intro to her new environment. At this time, she is available to a household with kids aged 10+ or no kids. She may feel more comfortable transitioning with her friend, Finch, and can have a combined adoption fee of $25. How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal. We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord. Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment.
