Zoey is a dream. She is talkative and friendly, and would make a great companion in your home. She doesn't seem to mind the dogs or the other cats in the foster home. She loves getting pets and does have long hair so will need regular brushing. This beautiful kitty is Mom to: Zeus and Zelda. She is part of the Mom and Me program. Moms and kittens often form close bonds and do well together in homes. So to keep families together and allow our Moms the opportunity to get into a new home sooner, you can adopt one of her kittens at the regular adoption fee and also adopt her for only $100 more. If you are interested in this program, please fill out an application and indicate which Mom and kitten you are interested in. Zoey is 7 lbs and 2 years old. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting this cat please complete the adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.Adoption processWe only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
