D’ARCY is an adorable little gray tabby girl kitten with some white accents. She's built like a prima ballerina (tiny and strong) but she's got a motor that could power the world! Her foster mom says she's like sunshine got put into a kitten. She loves playing and running as fast as she can throughout the house. She may never grow into her large ears. But they're charming as heck and she loves when you pet them. D'Arcy absolutely must have a kitten playmate or a VERY playful young cat. When she doesn't have a friend to entertain her, she’ll get into trouble! (Whenever she’s in trouble, though, she starts purring so that you can’t stay mad at her.) Her favorite playmate is her sister ASTA, and she tends to drive her other siblings crazy. When she isn't playing with another pet, she chases anything she can get her paws on. And she LOVES to tunnel under blankets to snuggle closer! D'Arcy was the spiciest kitten of the whole litter when they were rescued and she is just a touch nervous at first with strangers. Of course, once you rub her back, give her a treat, and play with her, she's butter in your hands and she'll be your friend for life. D’ARCY has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. D’ARCY can be visited at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St) beginning Monday 6/17. The $175 adoption fee ($320/2 kittens) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet. All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.Shelter locationOur cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours.
