Hi! I'm Mija, a nine-year-old cat with a flair for adventure and a heart full of purrs. I've spent almost a decade exploring my cozy home, napping in the sunniest spots, and watching in a safe distance from strangers. Oh, I am shy and take a bit to get to know new people, so please give me a quiet space and be patient with me. My sleek, black fur and bright green eyes make me quite the looker, or so I've been told. I may be nine, but I've got plenty of energy left and a lot of love to give. Here's to many more years of purrs, play, and peaceful naps!I would do best in a home with:-Children over 12 years old. Primary Color: Black Weight: 9.42 Age: 9yrs 1mths 2wksAdoption processEntry to the shelter is currently limited, and walk-ins are not permitted for general pet viewing. Masks are currently optional. View our Available Pets page and select a few that you would like to meet. Then download an Adoption Application and fill it out prior to visiting our shelter. Our adoption process is a walk-up and queue-based, first-come, first-served system. You will have a meet and greet with an Adoption Counselor to discuss your application, review information on the pets you would like to meet, and you will be introduced to the pet(s).If the Meet and Greet is a success, staff will complete your adoption paperwork to make it official! If your new family member is already spayed/neutered, they will go home with you right away!
