Jackson is a sweet 4-month-old kitten who loves to be around people and other cats. For Jackson we are looking for a home with another very playful young cat who can keep up with his cheerful energy. Jackson is very social and likes to be where the action is. He plays well with other cats, and also with people, adults and children. He has loads of energy and zips around his foster home with two of the younger cats. His favorite toys include laser pointers, springs, and dancer wands. He enjoys jumping and climbing cat towers where he can look out and watch birds or curl up on top to take a peaceful nap. He loves to be held and be carried around on his back, cradled like a baby, getting his belly rubbed. He also likes to curl up in your lap, or next to you for naps and to get as many pets as possible. He would do well in a lively household with other cats and multiple family members. Notable traits: Jackson is great with kids, with young cats, he doesn't get shy when people visit, but he is a door dasher. Therefore his home must have a buffer to the outside door, such as a mud room, so that he can't get out and lost. Please note that Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a 'same day' adoption shelter. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
