Yes Details about the animal: We’re looking for an indoor home for a pair of adult cats. These ~bonded~ kitties are around 4 years old, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on wellness exam/ vaccines/ flea prevention. Mesothelioma (black, female, 9 lbs): - Shy but warms up - Loves to be brushed and pet - Vocal!! Will stare into your soul and scream until you give her attention - Good with dogs Gregorny (red tabby, male, 13 lbs): - Social & friendly - Good with other animals - Asthma, controlled on a once daily pill (Prednisolone) - Playful, especially with catnip and crinkle toys If we were able to keep these two, we would in a heartbeat. They have both been diagnosed with feline leukemia (FeLV), which is contagious to other cats through grooming, shared bowls, litter boxes, etc. Neither cat is symptomatic, both have otherwise been given a clean bill of health from the vet! They will still need routine annual exams and bloodwork. Currently they are being quarantined in a spare bedroom, but we know this isn’t ideal long term. We’d like to find them a home where they have space to run, play, and get as much attention as they deserve. Adults vary from $40-$100. The adoption fee covers them being tested for leukemia and aids, their initial vaccines(distemper), a vet check-up, treatment for fleas, worms, parasites, ear mites, and their nails trimmed. If the cat/kitten is old enough they may have more done for them, such as, rabies vaccine and second distemper vaccine. Also if they are old enough, they will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If they are not spayed or neutered prior to adoption, you will be given a spay/neuter certificate for one of our local vets. If you choose to use your own vet, we will take $20 off the adoption fee. Our fees are very reasonable, considering you get about $300-500 worth of pet care when you adopt from us. Since we are non-profit, any donations and adoption fees are a tax-write off for you.
