I'm Sylvie and my story is truly 1 in 100! You see, I am the 100th kitty helped by Paws Patrol and the Arivaca Cat Project. Soon after I was trapped it was discovered that I was expecting my first litter. Now, I am not even a year old and am a very petite girl so when my kittens were born they were very tiny. They did not survive. Since then, I have been spayed so I will never know that heartbreak again. I was a candidate for the Working Cat program but soon began to really like the two-legged beings that were so kind to me. In return, I was kind to them! I went to live with my foster family of one human, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. My arrival was a mix of caution and curiosity but it sure didn't take long for me to get used to my new domestic life! I love playing with my foster friends and often initiate the nightly play sessions that fill the house with the sound of tiny paws and joyful meows. My foster mom says that one of my most endearing traits is my talkativeness. I have a lot to say and am not shy about expressing myself. I love the cuddle on a soft bed with the rest of my foster family. I love these guys and hope that my forever home has some furry friends to play with. Please consider giving me a home that I will always be thankful to have found. A note from Sylvie's foster : Sylvie's story is just beginning. With each passing day, she becomes more comfortable and confident, her playful and affectionate nature blossoming in the loving environment of her new home. As she continues to explore and make new friends, Sylvie is sure to bring even more joy and laughter to those around her.##2044386##Adoption processOur fees are $65 per kitten under 12 months of age (2 for $100) and $30 for all other cats. We have an application and contract to complete and in some instances, we may do a home visit. If everything checks out during the application process, your new kitty can go home that day.Shelter locationOur shelter is at 750 West Camino Casa Verde in Green Valley, AZ and we are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm. We also have cats at Petco in Sahuarita Thursday through Sunday and a volunteer is available at the store on weekends 11am to 2pm. If you need to schedule a different time to see our available cats, please call the office and generally we can make arrangements.
