This handsome tuxedo boy was described by his past owner as an easygoing and welcoming kitty, affectionate with his family and new human friends alike. He loved to play, and would even fetch his toys like a dog! In the shelter, Owen has been a bit shy but warms up readily with a soft voice. At this time, Owen is available to a home where he'll be the only cat. He may be most comfortable in a family with older or no children. How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal. We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord. Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment.
