Poppy, a former stray, was brought into our local shelter and soon discovered to be pregnant. She gave birth to six beautiful little kittens, her "flower babies." Now, Poppy is ready to find a cozy home of her own. Poppy is an incredibly sweet girl who gets along wonderfully with people. She’s good with calm cats when introduced slowly, but she prefers not to share her home with other dogs. Poppy is quite vocal and enjoys sunbathing and bird-watching from the window. While she loves to be petted, she has a special fondness for chin rubs and isn’t a fan of booty scratches. One of Poppy’s unique features is that she is polydactyl, meaning she has adorable thumbs! If you're looking for a loving and unique companion, Poppy might be the perfect addition to your home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, rabies vaccine, and heartworm, ear mite & flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
