We all hope that when we get older that we can stay in the home we know and love. Sadly, that's not the case for 13-year-old Puss. Her elderly owner is no longer able to care for her, and we're hoping there's someone looking for a very adorable older lady. This senior tabby female is very sweet and timid. She's been to the vet recently and has gotten a clean bill of health. Older cats are great for many people! Maybe you're young and you don't know what you'll be doing in 10 years, or maybe you're older and don't want that crazy kitten energy in your life. Or maybe you just think this girl is really cute (She is!). Please email XXXX@gmail.com to apply.Adoption processAll cats and kittens are vaccinated and tested for FELV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and if old enough, are neutered or spayed.We will ask you some questions about your home and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Adopting a pet is a long-term commitment. We ask you to sign the KittyKind Adoption Agreement.We will always take a cat back FOR ANY REASON. We will also work with you to place her in another good home if (after a period of adjustment) the adoption doesn't work out. We do ask for a $125 adoption fee to help cover some of our food and veterinary expenses. For certain purebred cats (Siamese, Persian, Maine Coon, etc.), we request a $150 - $300 adoption fee.Shelter locationVisit KittyKind at Petco Union Square at the corner of 17th Street and Broadway in Manhattan.KittyKind representative is always at Petco at the following times:Monday to Friday: 6 PM - 9 PMSaturday: 1 PM - 9 PMSunday: 1 PM - 6 PM
