Legolas is an adorable DSH fawn/buff tabby male born approximately 04/06/2024. He has a tawny gold tint to his coat and looks like a miniature lion. Legolas and his brothers, Aragorn & Gimli, were brought to NBCR by a kind soul caring for community cats. Legolas is a bit of a shy boy. He’ll be the one watching from the back, while his brothers charge forward. He does love to play, however, and will throw down with the rest of them once the toys come out. He’ll require a bit of patience with people, but once he warms up to someone, he loves to be petted and has a great purr. Legolas would love to be adopted with one of his foster siblings. He has a lot of kitten energy and needs a companion to keep him entertained. He has been eating Purina One Kitten dry food and Fancy Feast Kitten canned food. Legolas is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105. Please ask if you would like more information about veterinary fees and costs. Our animals come from a variety of situations. Some have been dumped at shelters or vets, and many are ill or malnourished when rescued. Although the animal has been in a protected environment, there is the possibility of unrecognized illness appearing after an adoption is finalized, especially because of the stress the animal may experience during the first few days at its new home. We advise adopters of the animal's known history and provide its veterinary records, but frequently we know only what the animal chooses to tell us. We cannot make any guarantee regarding the long-term health of any animal. Adoption fees are generally not refundable unless prior arrangements are made.
