He is pretty skittish if he's up and moving around and will shy away from us if we approach while he's not laying down somewhere. But once we start giving him scratches and pets, he can't get enough of them. It almost feels like he's playing hard to get! He came to the shelter very fearful and in a short amount of time in foster care has done so well. He does not approach us yet for anything (pets, attention, etc.). He's not very playful yet; we've tried a couple of toys with him and he's either not engaged or simply runs away from them. He's very chill and calm once he's settled. He’s not noisy and rarely meows. He happily sits and naps in his favorite box for most of the day. This handsome boy could use a quiet house to feel safe in and to be someone's couch potato and scratcher. Coco has tested positive for FIV, but is in good health. Adoption is $40 and includes his neuter surgery, initial vaccines and microchip. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and it is submitted to OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, and they run a BOGO special all year (Adopt 1 kitty get a 2nd for free)!! The adoption fee for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, testing for feline leukemia, and a Microchip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.Shelter locationYou may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent.
