Aren't I Handsome?! I'm a sweet young guy who's a perfect mix of cuddly, affectionate, laid-back and quiet. What more could you ask for?! I'm a total sweetheart with a super-soft black coat and mesmerizing golden eyes. I adore any and all attention you have time to give me! Im a little shy and may hide at first, but I warm up quickly once Ive had time to settle down and check things out. I am a mellow lap cat who enjoys gentle attention so Im searching for a quiet, relaxed household. I was brought to Animal Humane because my owner was moving and couldn't take me along. So now Im looking for someone to love and a fresh start in a new home. Keep reading to learn more about what I am looking for in a new home.Do I like Children? Ive been around kids a few times so I do okay with kids since Im so affectionate once I get comfortable. However, because of my somewhat timid nature, I prefer respectful children who understand that Im a little shy and that I dont want to be chased, hugged or carried around like a doll. Its always best to have your kids meet me before taking me home though just to be sure we will all get along.Do I like other Cats? Ive never lived with another cat before so no one knows how I will react to sharing a home with another feline. I may do okay in a home with another friendly cat as long as we are given a good amount of time to adjust to one another.Do I like Dogs? Previously, I lived with small dogs that were used to living with cats and were very respectful with me. So, with time, I would probably adjust well to a home with a small, respectful, mellow, cat-savvy dog that has lived peacefully with cats before & wont try to mess with me too much. If you have larger, young, rambunctious dogs at home they will most likely frighten me so I may not be the best match for you. If you currently own dogs, please understand itll take several weeks for me to adjust to a new life with your K9s and it will need to be a very slow introduction process.I'm quite a catch so if I sound like a good match for you, spend some time with me and take me home today!
