Hi, I'm Maudie! I'm a sweet, shy cat that's looking for my forever home! I can be nervous around new people and places. I'm looking for a quieter home with people who will be patient while I settle in. I'm an energetic young cat, and sometimes I play-swipe or nibble because I want to play with you! I've gotten much better about that, but it may be best for me to go to a home without young children. I'm frightened by dogs, but I might get along with a friendly cat. Once I get to know you, I'll be very sweet and social! I love curling up beside you and chasing wand toys. I'm active and love to play and run around. I'm a vocal kitty and love to tell you all about my day! If you'd like to know more about me, please reach out to my foster parent. I look forward to meeting you! Adopters will not be able to submit applications to adopt animals in advance, or place adoption holds on animals. For In-Person Adoptions at the Shelter, visit during open hours. For pets in foster care, apply on that pet at www.multcopets.org See fees and details at www.multcopets.org/adoption-information Adopters will be able to meet a maximum of three (3) pets per visit, with ten (10) minutes per pet.We will be unable to assist with pet-to-pet meets. Please keep your furry friends at home, adoptable pets will not be able to meet resident pets at the shelter.Prepare enough time for your visit. Adopters should expect that it may be up to two (2) hours at the shelter to process an adoption, including meeting pets, an adoption consultation, and waiting periods.
