I know it may not sound like it, but my name, Gus, means "majestic, exalted." Unfortunately, I'm a monarch in need of a throne because my kingdom has vanished. My friend Pumpkin and I were brought to Paws and Claws recently because our person passed away. I'm a 4-year-old grey, domestic longhair male, and I do not like to be alone. My releaser wrote on the background sheet that I am "more of an older person." Um...maybe I am the type of cat who would do better with an older person? Or maybe I am more like "an old soul"? I am an affectionate guy who likes children. Pumpkin and I have been around other cats and dogs. Also, I love catnip! Due to the recent changes in our lives, we might feel more comfortable and adapt more quickly to a new home if we can be adopted together. It's nice to see a familiar face when you're in a new place! I'd love to go home to be your royal majesty, but please, just call me Gus - and don't forget to call me for dinner (and catnip!).Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
