Adopt Leo a All Black Domestic Longhair / Mixed (long coat) cat in Oceanside

We adopted Leo from the Humane society December, 2023. He was part of a “pair” rescued from a cat-hoarding van. Leo still had lots of matted poop in his fur when we adopted him and I gave him a few baths at home. He’s a very frisky cat, nearly a year old now in May, 2024. He’s cuddly, loves to be pet, and loves to play. He curls up on my lap often. I could see him being a great pet if someone just wanted one cat, because he hasn’t been socialized fully. He and his pair partner never got along once we brought them to our house. They barely tolerate each other and get into fights often. This is the reason we need to rehome Leo. The other thing is he’s very messy with the litter box. If someone has an outdoor space for him, I think he’d love that. He’s a sweet cat and purrs nonstop. He’ll eat anything- not picky with food. He does have diarrhea sometimes. I’ve spoken to the behavior specialist and tried an elimination diet. I think he’s anxious with our other cat. They intimidate eachoth
