I, my husband and 2 kids rescued these two kittens from a not so good environment in someone’s basement that was taking them to the “pound” if they weren’t gone by the end of the day. We were told they were around 10 weeks when we took them. We estimated the time line and chose July 31st (2021) as their birthday. They are brother and sister. Rainbow is Dexter's sister. They need to stay together. I fear if they are separated they will get depressed. Dexter does not like our dog getting too close and will hiss at him. Rainbow lets the dog do whatever. They even play together. We are needing to rehome them because our two children each play multiple sports and we are not home much because of it. They need more attention, stimulation and love than we can give them at this point in our lives. We are heartbroken to have to make this decision, but we know it’s what’s best for them. Dexter is a Fat Cat probably 15lb?
