Adopt Hot Rod a Tortoiseshell Domestic Longhair / Mixed (long coat) cat in

Hotrod is bonded with Beeline. Husband and I adopted these two rescues 8 years ago. They had a rough start and adjusted well with our two 8 year old cats. The two older cats are now deceased. This past year has been a huge adjustment for our household. My husband died last July. He was the main caretaker for the cats as I worked full-time. Recently my daughter who kept the cats when I traveled, passed away. I still work and do not have the time to commit to these two cats. I do not want to board them when I travel and I cannot leave them alone for more than 1 night. I would prefer to rehome before my health fails. They have already had quite a bit of upheaval this past year. I would like them homed together as they are sisters. They weigh 8 pounds each and are 8 years old. They play well. Hotrod is a tortie who is full of energy. She is quite playful. Her sister, Beeline, is orange stripd. She does play but is more on the reserved side. They love attention.
