Description:
Skittles is 4 years old, adopted from our local Humane Society when he was 2 years old. Prior to that he spent most of his life in the shelter after his previous owner died. We were told he was a shy cat and we found he is really more of a scaredy cat. We have never been able to pick him up or pet him because he runs and hides. And yet he has adapted to our home and now is comfortable in our presence because we adapted to his quirky nature. As a result, he has made a lot of progress: he comes closer to us, will lick from our fingers (he loves peanut butter) and takes food from our hand. He gets along well with our other cat and plays by himself, has no bad habits (does not scratch furniture etc), not a fussy eater, uses litter box without issues, and is nonaggressive. He is quite curious and has some funny antics. He is a beautiful boy, worthy of a good home, and if we were not moving so far away we could keep him.
