Brendan was my family cat. Four years ago I became a healthcare traveler. I work at a different hospital every few months. Brendan has driven across the country several times with me due to the nature of my job. It’s difficult finding housing with a cat. He loves people and wants to snuggle. When he meets someone he starts rubbing against them. He wants to get in your lap while you watch TV, and snuggle in bed at night. I work a lot and he’s so lonely. This is a terrible life for him. He doesn’t deserve to be uprooted every few months. I’ve been fortunate to have rented from a few people who have adored him and hung out with him, but usually that’s not the case. Often he’s alone. He’d be great with a senior who would love his companionship. He does require a special diet. I’d be willing to purchase his food. The vet says his kidneys are not that of a young cat, but great for a cat his age. My other cat, who has since passed, was so mean to him so he really doesn’t like other cats.
